An honors graduate of New England Law | Boston, he served as Comment & Note Editor for the New England Law Review and received Merit and Trustee Scholarships. He was honored with CALI Awards in Excellence for coursework in Civil Rights and Perspectives in Housing Discrimination. He received his B.A. summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany where he became a member of Phi Beta Kappa and received the Dean's Award for Achievement in the Humanities.
